Beloit Senior Noah Gerstner has been named the NCKSSports.com/Cunningham Telephone and Cable Athlete of the Week.

Gerstner has been a long distance marksman for a good portion of this season, but over the past two games, he has taken his 3 point prowess to another level, shooting 50% from deep and making a combined 11 three-pointers in two wins for Beloit. 

Last Friday, Gerstner buried five three-pointers and scored 17 points in a 58-25 home win over Minneapolis which enabled Beloit to complete an undefeated league season. 

On Tuesday, Gerstner poured in a career high 24 points and drilled six treys (tying his career high in a game). He also added 4 steals and 3 assists in the 78-49 win at Smith Center as Beloit improved to 19-1 on the season.

In the two victories, Gerstner averaged 20.5 ppg, 3 apg, 3 spg, and shot 50% from deep (11-22).

For the season, Gerstner is averaging 11.1 ppg, shooting 40% from beyond the arc, has made 58 three-pointers while shooting 86% from the free throw line. He has made 134 three-pointers in his career as a Trojan.
