Tennis Results 9-26-22 & 9-27-22
Ellsworth hosted a varsity tennis tournament on Tuesday afternoon. In the team standings, Clay Center took 1st place, while the host Ellsworth finished in second. Individual highlights saw Osborne's #1 Doubles team of Gracie Riner & Leavie Riner take 1st place and in #2 Doubles, Sami Couch and Emma Salyers of Ellsworth took home the gold medals. Also on Monday, Beloit, Sacred Heart and Concordia competed at the Clay Center Invitational. Chapman won the meet with Beloit finishing in 3rd place. In Singles, Katie Weiss of Sacred Heart took 2nd, while Ashlyn Knight of Beloit was 3rd. In the Doubles bracket, Chloe Odle and Sydney Thompson of Beloit took 3rd place.
