Beloit Hosts Cross Country Invitational

Beloit High School held their annual cross country invitational on Thursday at Beloit Country Club.  In the girls varsity race, Alayna Cossaart of Minneapolis took home the gold medal with a time of 20:30.30.  In the girls team standings, Smoky Valley Home Educators took 1st place, followed by Sacred Heart in second and Osborne in third.  In the boys varsity 5K, Carson Fouard of Ell-Saline took first place with a time of 16:49.10.  Lance Lundine of Beloit finished 3rd and Osborne's Jonny Hamel was 4th.  Abilene took home the boys varsity team title with St. John's claiming third place as a team.  Full results can be found at the link below.
