Area Wrestlers Earn KWCA Academic Honors
Multiple athletes from the nckssports.com area were honored by the Kansas Wrestling Coaches Association for their academic work. In 3-2-1A, first team individual academic awards were given to Brodie Boudreaux, Brogan Monty and Ayden Loomis of Beloit; Will Donley from Ellsworth; Carson Beavers, Ryan Beavers, Kash Henke, Ethan Ines, AJ Polansky and Garrett Siemsen of Republic County; Smith Center's Luke Franklin, Parker Hutchinson, Bentley Montgomery, Kharson Montgomery and Will Tucker; and Landon Albrecht, Jacob Foster, Bryson Lippold and Manny McVay from Southeast of Saline. Honorable mentions academic honors went to Caden Anderson and Xander Elam from Beloit; Coe Nielson of Rock Hills; Bryan Baxter, Alex Dyke and Adam Krohn from Republic County; Bracksten Carr, Jacoby Feldmann and Eli Franklin of Smith Center; and Southeast of Saline's Brody Chamberlain, Mac Chambers, James Friesen, Kendall Minneman and Killian Vaughan. In Class 4A, Bergun Kindel, Tracer Murdock and Drew Sterrrett of Concordia were on the first team and Michael Ashland, Mason Eickmann, Caleb Hanson, Torxsten Kindel and Dustin Sterrett were given honorable mention awards.
