KSHSAA Board of Directors Approves More Games for Baseball & Softball

Wednesday night, the KSHSAA Board of Directors approved an increase in the amount of games baseball and softball teams are allowed to play.  A proposal was brought to the board to allow high school teams to play up to 26 regular season games.  Currently, teams are allowed to play 20 games in a season.  In baseball, the board voted 42-17 in favor and in softball, the vote was even higher at 48-11.  The change is effective immediately.  For more on this story, click the link below with the story from Brent Maycock at KSHSAA Covered.
