Area Athletes Place at State Tennis
Multiple area athletes brought home medals from the 3-2-1A State Tennis Tournament Saturday in Topeka. Three doubles teams and a singles player from the nckssports.com area medaled at the two-day event at Kossover Tennis Center. Reygan Coonrod and Inarie Rippert of Ellsworth took second place at the event, while Osborne's Gracie Riner and Leavie Riner finished in fifth in the doubles bracket. Ellsworth's second doubles team of Elena Jundt and Hannah Vague finished ninth place. In singles, Ellsworth freshman Karli Haase finished in 9th place.
