Waters Signs with UCM Football

On Wednesday, Beloit High School senior Maddox Waters signed his letter of intent to play football at the University of Central Missouri.

Waters was a four-year letterwinner and two-year captain for Brad Gober's Beloit squad.  He was selected to multiple all-state teams in 2A as a senior and a first team all-NCAA tight end as well.  In a run-first offense, most of Waters' contributions during his final season at tight end came as a blocker.  When given the chance in the passing game, 40% of the catches he made were for touchdowns as he caught 10 passes for 197 yards and four scores in nine games.  Over his final two seasons, Waters had 17 catches for 385 yards and seven touchdowns.

Waters plans to major in Kinesiology at UCM.
