Wildeman Named New Concordia Football Coach

USD 333 Concordia approved the hiring of Brad Wildeman as the new head football coach at Concordia High School.  Wildeman replaces Jordan Echer who resigned from the position in January after five seasons at the helm for the Panthers.  Echer went 22-26 over his tenure on the Concordia sidelines.  He has accepted the head coaching position for Wichita Independent football.

Wildeman has been on the Concordia football staff since 2021 and his contract has been transferred from assistant to head coach.  Wildeman has 25 years of football coaching experience, with 22 of those at Colby High School.  This marks his second head coaching job as he coached the Eagles to a 4-14 record over two seasons in 2002 and 2003.  The rest of his time on the gridiron has been spent as an assistant coach with Colby and Concordia.  Wildeman has also spent time on the Concordia boys basketball staff as an assistant coach.  He was the head boys basketball coach at Colby for four seasons from 2015-2019.
