Rietzke Signs with Kansas Wesleyan Basketball

Thunder Ridge Senior Kamryn Rietzke signed her letter of intent to play basketball at the collegiate level on Wednesday.  Rietzke will continue her education and career at Kansas Wesleyan University in Salina.

Rietzke had a roller coaster career at Thunder Ridge.  After playing a full season as a freshman in 2020-21, Rietzke had two season-ending knee injuries in her sophomore and junior seasons, holding her to just 13 games combined.  She was back for her senior season, playing in 19 of 20 games for the Lady Longhorns.  Rietzke averaged 15.2 ppg, 3.8 rpg and 4.0 spg as a senior.  She was named a first team all-Northern Plains League performer for her efforts.  During her career, Reitzke put up 13.9 ppg, 3.6 rpg, 3.2 spg and 2.2 apg over four seasons.
