Kresin Named Beloit Girls Basketball Coach

Pending approval at the May USD 273 Board of Education meeting, Keith Kresin has been named the next head coach of the Beloit Lady Trojans basketball program. The job was open after Shauna Remus resigned after seven seasons, going 80-66 in that time.

Kresin has had success as a coach in multiple sports during his time in north central Kansas, leading teams at Waconda East and St. John's in football, basketball and track and field.

His last high school coaching position was at St. John's and St. John's/Tipton, where he coached 12 seasons, going 218-63 from 2007-2019 with the Lady Blujays. His teams qualified for state four times and won the 1A-DII state championship in 2015.

Kresin has been coaching in the Beloit district for the past four seasons. He has been the coach of the Beloit junior high boys team the past four years and was also an assistant coach with Remus this past season for the Beloit girls.

KD Country 94 and Z 96.3 "The Lake" Sports Director Dusty Deines had a chance to chat with Kresin.  Find that interview at the link below.
