Republic County Invited to Twin Valley League; Will Mull Options

According to a post from the Republic County Schools facebook page, the Twin Valley League has reached out to Repubic County to join their league.  Republic County is currently a member of the North Central Activities Association along with Beloit, Ellsworth, Minneapolis, Sacred Heart and Southeast of Saline.

Due to the gravity of the decision, USD 109 Republic County has scheduled a public listening session to gauge interest from the community, stating that "this is a big decision that would affect many of our athletics and activities."  Currently the district is in the information gathering stage and patrons are encouraged to share comments and concerns they may have about a potential move to the TVL.  The meeting will be held at the Republic County Junior Senior High School Front Flex Room from 5:30-6:30 on Monday, October 2nd.

The Twin Valley League currently has 12 members: Axtell, Blue Valley-Randolph, Centralia, Clifton-Clyde, Doniphan West, Frankfort, Hanover, Linn, Onaga, Troy, Valley Heights and Washington County.
