
NATHAN GOHEEN, Men's Track & Field
Osborne Senior Nathan Goheen has been named the NCKSSports.com/Cunningham Fiber Athlete of the Week.
Goheen is having and outstanding spring in track and field for the Bulldogs, saving his best so far for the Northern Plains League meet at Tescott on Thursday. Goheen took home four league championships with two individually and as part of two relay teams. He won the 110m high hurdles with a time of 16.40 and added a championship in the triple jump at 39'11 1/2". He was part of the 4x100m relay team that took first with a time of 44.75 and the 4x400m relay team which won in 3:40.53.
Goheen has taken home 14 gold medals this season, with seven individually and seven as part of relays. He has won the 110m hurdles in five events, putting up a season high mark of 15.90 at the Kaser Relays in Osborne on April 19. He also took first place in the triple jump at the Kaser Relays along with the NPL meet. The 4x100m relay team has claimed the gold four times and the 4x400m relay has four gold medals this spring as well. Overall, Goheen has 11 total medals individually and another 13 as part of relay teams in 2024.
