In the championship match, he defeated Axel Ortiz of Stafford by fall in 2:45. He followed that up with a 3-0 day at the Warcat Invitational in Red Cloud, NE on Saturday. He spent a total of three minutes and 57 seconds on the mat in his three wins. His toughest match was a win by fall in 3:00 over Alex Rutt of Kenesaw. He then beat Hunter McLeod of Red Cloud/Blue Hill in just 15 seconds and dispatched of Jacob Copper of Maxwell in the final match of the day in only 42 seconds. With his 7-0 record over the weekend, Middleton is now 25-8 on the season.
