KBCA Announces All-Star Selections and Awards
The Kansas Basketball Coaches Association has announced their selections for their annual All-Star Games this June. From the area, three players have been selected to play in the games. In the girls contest, Smith Center's Dakota Kattenberg was chosen to play for the gold squad. In the boys game, Bryce Beisner of Beloit was selected for the blue team and Ellsworth's Will Cravens was picked for the gold team.
The KBCA All-Star Games will take place at Mabee Arena on the campus of Kansas Wesleyan University in Salina on Saturday, June 22. The girls game tips off at 6:00 with the boys to follow at 8:00. Full selections for the games are listed below.
The KBCA is also awarding retiring Smith Center girls basketball coach Nick Linn with the Don Jones Courage Award. You can read more about that at the awards link below.
